Consider your target market. What do they need to feel assured by your web presence? What will help them decide to trust you? Consider this first. Then tweak your story to match the style of the social media sites you are using. At Blue Box Creative, we like to think of it like choosing the right music for a dinner party. If your guests love jazz, you probably shouldn’t play your favorite R&B album at a dinner party with them.
I think it is best to have a professional look on your LinkedIn profile, while on other sites, you may want to show more of your own personality. Of course, if YOUR story is about being quirky and fun and your business depends on that personality, then by all means show your audience that!
