E’Beth Goad is a wardrobe stylist. She started her business with a build-it-yourself-blog and a few snapshots. As the business grew, E’Beth realized she needed to amp-up her game. She needed new headshots, a new logo design, and a new website that said, “I’m cool, hip, classy, and fun. Not only that, I can make you look really put together with your own style point-of-view!
We did E’Beth’s first site when the business was Metamorphosis by E’Beth. Recently, her business went through a metamorphosis of its own and she has rebranded by using her own name, ebethgoad.com. It’s simple and to the point and much easier to remember. E’Beth’s favorite color combination is grey and pink. So, that was our starting point for the first site. We decided the rebranded site needed a nod to the old site, but needed a more bohemian feel, since her clients are more casual and fun these days. So we stepped away from corporate pink and grey, and embraced the paisley, pink, and turquoise. We decided a new dragonfly would be our nod to the old site. Where did the dragonflies come from? Japan. No, really…E’Beth currently lives in Japan. Instead of a very straightforward dragonfly, we decided it would be made from the paisleys that are in the cluster by the E in her name. Do you see where each of the parts originated? The dragonfly was a fun, and challenging part of the logo design.
Below are some of our photos from an early shoot in NC for the old site and a larger version of the logo and dragonfly.
